I wrote my first thank you yesterday to my friend Nicole. Even when I'm having a very bad day Nicole is always there to make it better. We started as roommates about 7 years ago, and even though the distance has grown (she now lives in California) it's like a day hasn't gone by.
I love talking to Nicole, but with the difference in time zones, it's very difficult to get the times right when we can call. One of the most exciting things for me is that Nicole's little boy is 18 days younger than our youngest son. It's so exciting to see the similarities and differences in their progression. I haven't seen Nicole in person since we traveled to San Francisco in January of last year. Our little guys even got to meet each other! I hope that Nicole knows how much I appreciate and miss her.
